The first visit of the EPK’s representatives in Angola, related to the construction of a 750 MW gas-steam power plant in Soyo, not far from the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo, has come to an end.

Preparation works are currently underway, aiming to prepare the site for foundation works of four 125 MW gas turbines and two steam turbines. EPK checked the correctness of reinforcement preparation before casting the foundations with concrete. EPK acts as a contract engineer during the construction, along with the Arab company DAR AL HANDASAH. During the visit, the EPK representatives also examined the living conditions and the progress of preparations to accommodate Polish engineers prepared by DAR and the General Contractor – CMEC from China. The first persons from Poland appointed for continuous contract service are scheduled to arrive at the site in March this year.

EPK will service the Contract for 36 months.
