We co-organized the BIO-DUO conference - Low-carbon innovative technologies for reconstruction of coal-fired power units of 200 MW.

During the conference, there were presented solutions ready for implementation in Polish power plants equipped with worn units of 200 MW. One of the solutions is a high-performance and highly flexible DUOBLOK 500, which is a perfect respond to the current needs of coal power generation.

The second one - the pulverized-fuel biomass boiler in the system of BIOBLOK with 50MW turbine. It is worth to emphasize, that such a mature solution is a result of a project co-ordinated by the Institute of Energy and co-financed by NCBiR, which director - Maciej Chorowski, Prof. Eng., confirmed his participation and presentation at the conference.
