Maciej Wesolowski and Cezary Orlowski participated in the ceremonial commissioning of the CCGT power unit in Gorzów CHP Plant, a division of Polska Grupa Energetyczna - Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna SA in Bełchatów.

The investment was realized by the consortium of Siemens Sp. o.o. Warsaw and Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery from Sweden, on the basis of a contract signed in October 2013.

The scope of EPK specjalists was:

• variant analysis for the construction of a new co-generation power unit, which utilizes the local natural gas in Gorzów CHP Plant;

• feasibility study for the construction of CCGT in Gorzow CHP Plant;

• economic analyses for the organization of funding by the PGE GiEK SA for the construction of CCGT in Gorzow CHP Plant;

• technical advice, preparation of the technical part of the Terms of Reference, issuing opinions on proposals and conclusions of the contractors, conducting technical negotiations with the contractors, technical advice in the tender procedure operated by PGE GiEK SA in accordance with the Public Procurement Law "negotiations with the announcement" of selecting a contractor, completed with signing of the contract by PGE GiEK Belchatow SA with the consortium of Siemens Sp. o.o. Warsaw and Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery from Sweden;

• building permit for construction of a CCGT power unit together with preparation of civil engineering design, with the support of EP Gliwice;

• design documentation for PGE GiEK SA of relocations to release ten land for the construction of a new CCGT power unit in the Gorzów CHP Plant;

• opinions on the construction and civil engineering documentation within the CCGT in Gorzów CHP Plant for Siemens Sp. o.o. Warsaw;

• design documentation for the pipelines within the CCGT in Gorzów CHP Plant for Siemens Sp. o.o. Warsaw.
