Andrzej Kowalski attended General Meeting of Members of the Polish Chamber of Steelwork which was held in Mikorzyn near Konin on 21-22 June. The Chamber also celebrated its 20th anniversary.
General Meeting was opened by Andrzej Kowalski (ENERGOPROJEKT-KATOWICE SA), President of the Chamber, who welcomed the Guests and emphasized the soundness of the Chamber.
During the meeting, Andrzej Arendarski, President of the National Chamber of Commerce, presented honorary awards – Golden Badges - for promoting development of economic self-government. One of the badges was awarded to Andrzej Kowalski.
Subsequently, the members considered the report on the activities of the Chamber in 2015. General Director and Bartłomiej Baudler, member of the Chamber, discussed the courses of actions the Chamber is about to undertake in the second half of 2016, including the organization of the 2nd Technical Conference in Cedzyn, near Kielce, and the Congress of the Chamber in Józefów, near Warsaw.
An important element of the General Meeting was the election of the President of the Chamber. Tadeusz Rybak (MOSTOSTAL PUŁAWY S.A.) has been unanimously chosed to assume this position. The new President thanked for confidence placed in him and said that he would actively work towards the further development of the Polish Chamber of Steelwork. He stressed that the Chamber, along with member companies, should be present at the international events such as fairs and conferences.
