From 18th to 20th of July, 2017 at Sandton Convention Center in Johannesburg, South Africa, the fifth edition of POWER-GEN Africa conference and exhibition took place.

During those three days a joined booth of EPK and RAFAKO attracted over three hundred people. One of the first visitors at our booth was the Minister of Public Enterprises, Lynne Brown: “On satellite pictures Europe looks like a beautifully lit Christmas tree, meanwhile Africa looks like a dark spot. I want our grandchildren to see pictures of Africa that has emerged from the dark, electrified, industrialized and illuminated, "said the Minister.

In response, she was ensured that reaching that goal was among other things the reason of our presence at Power Gen Africa.

A total of 2800 people from 62 countries have participated in the fairs and conferences, 75 exhibitors from 32 countries presented their stands.

We hope that the meetings that took place during fairs will result in co-operation with companies not only from South Africa but also from Kenya, Congo, Namibia or Mozambique.
