The contract was signed by Henryk Baranowski, President of the Management Board of Polska Grupa Energetyczna SA, Robert Ostrowski, President of the Management Board of PGE GiEK SA and by the contractor represented by Sławomir Żygowski, President of the Management Board of General Electric in Poland and Krzysztof Figat, President of the Management Board of Polimex Mostostal.
President of the Board Łukasz Grela participated in the ceremony.
PGE GiEK SA plans to include new units into commercial operation in January 2024.
Planned gas-steam units at ZEDO were among the generating units that received a 17-year premium contract in the main auction of the capacity market for the year 2024. The value of the bid for construction of these units is about PLN 3,70 billion net, and the value of 12-year service contract associated with it is approx. PLN 1,03 billion net.
