On June 5 this year, at the National Stadium in Warsaw the grand final of the 24th edition of the European Medal was held. The ceremony was attended by 162 Medal winners, winners of the Honorary European Medal - the creators and actors of the film "Closed System" [Układ zamknięty] and those representing the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), BCC and journalists. The ceremony was also attended by a representative of our office – JAN SIKORA.
The National Stadium in Warsaw hosted the winners of the 24th edition of the European Medal: 162 entrepreneurs belonging to the Business Centre Club and Honorary European Medal winners. They were: RYSZARD BUGAJSKI - director of "Closed System", MIROSŁAW PIEPKA - screenwriter of "Closed System", MICHAŁ PRUSKI - screenwriter of "Closed System", JANUSZ GAJOS - actor, KAZIMIERZ KACZOR - actor, MAGDALENA KUMOREK - actress, MARIA MAMONA - actress, BEATA ŚCIBAKÓWNA - actress and OLGA BIENIEK - producer of the film.
The ceremony was conducted by Zbigniew Żurek, vice president of the BCC, the Secretary of TK Bureau of Economic and Social Affairs.
The European Medal for our office for OPTIMIZATION OF THE DESIGN PROCESS THROUGH USE OF INNOVATIVE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS BASED ON DELPHI LANGUAGE was received by the Head of the IT Department - JAN SIKORA. This medal is the culmination of the work of the entire IT team, due to which all employees of the office use internal IT software which are user-friendly and tailored to our needs.
Business Centre Club with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (represented by the Minister for EU membership) and the Honorary Patronage of the European Economic and Social Committee based in Brussels, is the organizer of non-commercial, Polish enterprise European Medal. The aim of this project is to highlight and promote the products and services offered by companies operating on the Polish market, to stimulate interest in European standards and regulations in force in the European Union, to stimulate interest in multi-million dollar market in the European Union among Polish entrepreneurs, to stimulate interest of consumers and businesses from the European Union in European Medal winners. European Medal is awarded for products and services meeting European standards.
